The Society of Friends of the Basque Museum promotes patronage in two ways.
\u2013 By collecting or purchasing works of art and objects to give to the Museum. In fact, it was donations from Basque and Bayonne families that originally constituted the first collections exhibited at the Museum.
\u2013 By promoting fundraising to purchase works of art and objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can become a patron of the Mus\u00e9e Basque et de l\u2019histoire de Bayonne by making a financial donation.

The spectacular White Peacock by Henry Caro-Delvaille, circa 1906. This very large painting, which now welcomes the visitor to the beautiful atrium rotunda of the Basque Museum, depicts a family from Bayonne\u2019s Jewish bourgeoisie ( see n\u00b0 195<\/a> of the BMB).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
