The team

SAMB is led by an Executive Council that is elected each year by the Board of Directors and meets approximately once a month. 

Council members are:
Jean-Michel BEDECARRAX, president , Mano CURUTCHARRY et Bertrand DELAGE, vice presidents, Jean-Marie PERRET, treasurer, Noëlle SVIRMICKAS, general secretary,

Maritxu ETCHEVERRY, deputy secretary general,
Maryse DUMOULIN, director of communication and Charles VIDEGAIN, director of the Bulletin du Musée Basque are participant in council meetings.


A third of the Board of Directors, made up of 16 members, is renewed each year during the Annual General Meeting.

An editorial committee led by Charles VIDEGAIN prepares The Basque Museum Bulletin le Bulletin du Musée Basque choosing the overall theme for each issue and assessing the proposed articles.
The association also creates working commissions as needed to deal with particular subjects.
